This course takes a hands-on approach to the fundamentals of implementing an effective incident response process at your organization and how to optimally set up Technical and Business Services. Learn how to construct your PagerDuty account according to suggested practices to mitigate noise and business disruption and how to manage an incident throughout its lifecycle using PagerDuty Modern Incident Response functionalities. This course has hands-on practice problems designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge of using automation to add additional context to incidents, set up rules to route alerts effectively, and reduce noise with alert correlation. Finally, learn how to extend PagerDuty with ChatOps (Slack/Teams).
